About ‘The Observer’
– Last Updated: 4th April 2008

The Observer, me, is a quiet, late 20’s guy living in the western suburbs of Sydney, NSW, Australia.
I am currently on sabbatical from my work as a Network Engineer to complete my Software Engineering degree.
I have a strong interest in social justice issues and politics. I also love political satire, and will include some cartoons in my posts where appropriate.
Over the years I have taken the Political Compass Test . Here is where I am positioned:

Compare this to a chart showing major world figures, I seem to have a lot in common with Gandhi

I have also taken the Myers-Briggs Personality type test at different points in my life, as young as 15, and then again at 22, and also more recently. I consistently come out as INTJ.
I also enjoy music, and have been playing the piano for the last 25 years. I have also written some music since 1991, though in the past 8 years, it has been rare for me to have the time, or creative inspiration. This year I hope to do more writing.
I have a great love for Romantic Era, Impressionism and early 20th Century music.
